Standard Websites
This package is your simplest option for a complete, professional and effective business website.
Having discussed your requirements with you we will produce a bespoke design to suit your corporate identity, and provide any number of a wide range of pages at a per-page price.
While there are many virtues of updateable, content managed websites, a standard, non-updateable website can still often be the best solution for a particular marketing need.
Designed to the same exacting standards as our updateable and eCommerce websites, standard websites are a suitable way for the budget-conscious to get a new website that looks like it cost a lot more.
I know what I want. How much does it cost?
What Can I Have on my Website?
That's entirely up to you. What do you need? There are many standard types of pages that go together to form a corporate website.
As part of the process we will discuss with you what information you want to present on your website, but in the meantime here are some ideas:
Home Page
You'll need one of these! Depending on the size of your site, the Home Page could simply include a brief introduction to your company or act as a portal to bring various aspects of your website's content into direct view of your visitors.
About Us
'On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog', the saying goes. The About Us page allows you to build credibility in the eyes of the user and prove that there ain't no fleas on you.
Services Page(s)
These pages would provide the focal point for the website and would carry details of the various services that you offer. You'll notice we've listed our products and services on our homepage!
Products Page(s)
Similarly to services pages, if you sell products then finding this information is most likely the reason users are on your website.
How To Find Us
Display a location map and directions to your offices from the nearest motorway. If you have lots of branches users will apprecaite this. How to Find Us is often linked to from the 'Contact Us' page.
Careers Page
This page would provide visitors with career listings and the information of the individual jobs. Then when the visitor wants to apply they can be directed to a job application form.
Frequently Asked Questions Page
Your site could be developed in such a way that it answers those commonly asked questions that take up time on the telephone. An FAQ page can provide the answers to many of the basic questions that a client might have, without the need to contact your office. Anyone who still has questions would of course be invited to complete the Contact Form where they can ask any other questions or request information, or they can telephone your office.
Links Page
The Links Page could provide links to professional organisations within your industry or to other relevant sites, providing a valuable resource for users. The linked site would be opened up in a new browser so that when finished with, the visitor is returned to your site.
Case Studies Page
There is no better way of showing potential customers how you can help them than by showing them how you have helped others.
Testimonials Page
Testimonials are a good way to highlight your company's success and also add credibility to your company in the eyes of the user.
Special offers
Whether you sell products or services, everybody loves a good special offer.
Press Releases
Provide a resource of the statements coming out of your company or organisation.
Forms
Forms play an important role in allowing users to contact you - and each other! Some forms that you may consider for your website:
Contact Form
Because a Contact Form is structured it makes it easier for users to communicate their enquiries to you; rather than opening an eMail client and typing a full email.
Tell-a-Friend Form
The Tell-a-Friend form is a really simple but very effective way of marketing your website because it produces hot leads; someone will only tell a friend about your site if they think they are interested.
Job Application Form
If you have a careers page then an application form is a great way of collecting contact details and CV's from applicants.
Booking Form
Allow your users to book a room, a taxi, a seminar, an appointment, or whatever it is that you provide.
Development Costs
Standard website development starts at £900 for a simple four page site. This includes your bespoke design and, for example, a Homepage, a Products or Services page, an About Us page and a Contact Form. A more comprehensive seven page site would cost around £2050.
